NextLevel UP was founded to address a critical issue in today's companies and organizations:

 Only 10% of companies fully execute their strategies. 

There are many reasons for this. Here are a few:

1.We live in an internationally inter-connected business world that changes in real time all the time.

2.What hasn’t happened is a coinciding change in  companies' culture, processes, leadership, communication (information flow), reward programs, etc.

3. 85% of companies spend less than an hour per month reviewing the strategic metrics. Companies spend too much time on reviewing the operational budget variances rather than the strategic measurements.

4.Tangible book value (physical assets) as  % of market value  of companies  has  decreased  from 62% in 1982  to 15% in 2000, and based on simple extrapolation is  less than 10% today. It is more difficult in executing strategies based on intangible assets than it is on physical assets.   

Consequently, execution suffers through gridlock. We prefer the term “muddled” because it is so difficult to sort out where the real problems lie. 
 

To prevent this from happening, the solution is alignment. Alignment, at first glance, appears  to be a structure or set of processes put in place to get all areas of the organization to be focused and moving in the same direction in the same time frame. Alignment is much more than this ... it is a culture, it is a belief system, it must be part of the DNA, it tears down silos, it builds trust , it is fluid, it checks egos.
